Vasta -

I remember that I started reading your thoughts (via this forum!) near Mother's Day last year. You posted about your mom and I challenged you to tell your mom which you said you did. Although we've known each other for many years I have had the pleasure of getting to actually know you more through reading your thoughts about people and life. Kudos to you!

Also, thought you might like this article from Men's Health - http://www.menshealth.com/cda/article.do?site=MensHealth&channel=guy.wisdom&category=life.lessons&conitem=d36ba3e5b5d60210VgnVCM10000013281eac____ (Like Mother, Like Son if link doesn't work)

Cheers!

Sameer
There's nothing wrong with respecting and appreciating (OK, adoring) your Mom. It's a fairly accurate benchmark of how you'd treat the lady in your life. It's not unknown for girls to notice these things.

I made sure to hug my Mom today, since you couldn't get to yours
hugs

This is beautiful.

I'm taken aback, too, when people are afraid to become their mothers. To one day have half the kindness and joyful spirit and strength ... ability to weather anything ... that my mom possesses, I'd be very blessed.
